An orange Italian bitter named after the French slang word for aperitif.  Aperol has the same flavors as Campari with half the alcohol content.  Flavors of Aperol come from rhubarb, gentian and cinchona.   This results in a tart flavor on the tongue, herbal notes in the upper palate and an almost soapy bitter finish.

  • Lemon Juice

    5-6% acidity

Less acidic than lime juice, lemon juice will add enough acidity to brighten flavors without overpowering when balanced with sweetness.   Usually our preference when needing acid to emulsify with egg white,  aquafaba or cream.

  • Aquafaba

An Egg White Substitute for cocktails.  Aquafaba offers a silky texture that is slightly savory and can be aerated or shaken to create a cocktail foam.

    To Make It:

    1- 15 oz can Garbanzo Beans/Chickpeas 1

     barspoon Cream of Tartar

Strain out the chickpeas using a fine mesh strainer. Pour chickpea brine in a clean and dry condiment bottle, add 1 tsp cream of tartar and stir gently to combine. Seal and store in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. * A note on using aquafaba for cocktails: Gently swirl prepared aquafaba before use to redistribute the settled cream of tartar; acid such as citrus juice will be necessary for frothing emulsion.

Tron

Tron asks one of every technophile's favorite questions: what if the software running your computer had its own civilization, complete with politics, philosophy, and a healthy fear of bad system administration? Brilliant programmer Kevin Flynn is digitized and pulled into a glowing electronic world where programs behave like sentient algorithms and authoritarian control comes in the form of the all-powerful Master Control Program. There, identity is tied to function, users are treated almost like deities, and survival depends on mastering everything from game theory to the physics-defying strategy of Light Cycle combat. Decades before the internet became our second home, the film imagined virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and the ethics of centralized computing with the enthusiasm of a late-night computer science debate. In the end, Tron is less about escaping into a machine than proving that creativity, open systems, and a clever hack can still outperform brute-force control.
