    Brand: Tingala Spirits

Taste: Sweet warming spices with a tingling grapefruit bitterness finish

    Price Category: $$

A buzz button liqueur created with undisclosed neutral spirit, freshly picked and shipped buzz button flowers, cinnamon and vanilla and sweetened with agave.  The result is a Bavarian pretzel flavor in the front of the palate, a nice warming spice mostly of cinnamon in the middle of the palate and a slightly bitter finish.  The lingering characteristic of this spirit is the tingly-numbing sensation that is characteristic of buzz buttons flowers.

  • Black Pepper Syrup

Black Pepper Syrup is a great way to add a pre-balanced spice to a cocktail.  Easily made with peppercorns, water and cane sugar, it captures the mellow spice and savory dustiness in that you recognize in the upper part of your palate.

    1 Tbs (10g) Black Peppercorns

    8 oz (240mL) Filtered Water

    .5 Cup Granulated Cane Sugar

In a saucepan, combine 1 Tbs of Black Peppercorns and 8 oz of water over medium heat.  Allow to come to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes.  Strain out the black peppercorns and while still hot, over simmering heat stir in the sugar until dissolved.  Allow to cool to room temperature and pour into a syrup bottle.

  • Salt/Saline

Salt/Saline is a great flavor booster.  It can balance sweetness and bitterness, smoothing out a cocktail.  It can also enhance citrus flavor and acidity without the need for more acid.

A pinch of salt can be added to the cocktail, but for consistency, saline is easy to make and allows more control.

    To Make It:

2 oz (60mL) Distilled or Purified Water

1 Tbsp (15g) Fine Sea Salt

Combine in a jar and shake vigorously.  Once salt is dissolved, pour into a dropper bottle.

  • Activated Charcoal

    Flavorless, slightly gritty and black.

Activated charcoal is made from charred coconut husks making it one of the best additives to a cocktail to make it black.  Use of black charcoal in cocktails has fallen in and out of favor in the cocktail community and it is advised to educate yourself on whether or not you would like to add it to your cocktail as its only effect is visual.

  • Tobacco Bitters

    Country: United States

    ABV: 5 proof/2.5% ABV

    Brand: Fee Brothers

    Spirits Type: Bitters

    Taste: Clove, Coffee, Nutmeg, Tobacco

    Price Category: $$

  • Celery Bitters

    Country: United States

    ABV: 2.6 proof/1.3%

    Brand: Fee Brothers

    Spirits: Bitters

Taste: Natural Celery Flavor, Savory, Slight Salt

    Price Category: $$

  • Black Sphere

Adds more visual "drama" than flavor unless you take your time with the drink, then you will enjoy additional light floral notes.

    8 oz (240mL) Boiling Water

1 Tbs (15g) Earl Grey Tea (3 bags)

2 oz (60mL) Sweetener of choice

4 oz (120mL) Fresh Lemon Juice

    1 capsule (5g) Activated Charcoal

Steep 1 Tbs (15g) Earl Grey Tea (3 bags) in 8 oz (240mL) Boiling Water

for 5- 8 minutes.  Strain out tea; allow to cool to room temperature; stir in 2 oz (60mL) Sweetener of choice, 4 oz (120mL) Fresh Lemon Juice, and 1 capsule (5g) Activated Charcoal.  Pour into molds.  Freeze for 12-24 hours

This is Spinal Tap

This Is Spinal Tap plays like a case study in brand management failure, following a once-profitable heavy metal enterprise as it struggles to stay relevant in an increasingly competitive entertainment market. A documentary crew shadows the British rock group through a U.S. tour plagued by shrinking audiences, operational blunders, merchandising misfires, and a leadership structure that appears to have no meaningful governance. The band's persistent belief that success is just one louder amplifier away becomes a satirical lesson in the dangers of ignoring market signals and overestimating product differentiation. Meanwhile, backstage conflicts, revolving-door personnel, and spectacularly poor strategic planning steadily erode shareholder value—if Spinal Tap had any shareholders left. By the closing credits, the film has transformed a rock mockumentary into a surprisingly sharp commentary on how ego, weak management, and an inability to adapt can send even an iconic brand into decline.
