Today we craft two cocktails inspired by the movie One Battle After Another, perfect for Oscar season. Viva La Revolution

  • 2 oz Mezcal/Tequila 

    1 oz Lime Juice 

    .25 oz A Flavored Simple – Hot Honey 

    Dash Habanero Bitters 

    2 Dashes Cocoa Bitters 

    Top Dry Sparkling California Brut

    Garnish with Popping Candy

  • In a shaker tin, combine  

    1.5 oz Mezcal 

    .5 oz Lime Juice 

    .25 oz Hot Honey 

    Dash Habanero Bitters 

    2 Dashes Cocoa Bitters 

    Add ice, cover and shake until chilled.  Double strain into a chilled Collins glass with a spear. 

    Top Dry Sparkling from CA like a Brut 

    And Garnish with some popping candy 

  • Easy to make at home, hot honey syrup is a great way to add the flavor of heat that is already balanced by a floral sweetness. 

    4 oz (120 mL/113.5 g) Honey 

    4 oz (120 mL/113.5 g) Water 

    1 Tbs (3 g) Red Pepper Flakes 

    Pinch Salt 

    In a saucepan, combine Honey, Water, Red Pepper Flakes and Salt.  Place on medium low heat and stir to combine.  Allow to come to a slight boil and reduce heat to low.  Cover and simmer on low for 20-30 minutes.  Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.  Fine strain into a syrup container.  Store in a cool, dark place

  • 1.5 oz Bourbon 

    .5 oz Aperol 

    .5 oz Apricot 

    .5 oz Elderflower 

    Dropper of Saline 

    Christmas Adventurers Smoking Spice

  • In a heat proof mixing glass, combine 1 oz Coconut Rum, 1 oz  Coffee Liqueur, 1 oz Half and Half, and a Barspoon of White Vanilla. Using a frother, froth until well combined; pour into a heat proof cocktail glass. In the mixing glass, combine 1 (.25 cup) Serving Hot Cocoa Mix, and 4 oz Hot Water. Using the frother, froth until well combined, between 167F and 165F and foamy. Pour into cocktail glass and enjoy!

  • Equal Parts Dried Pear Wood Chips, Dried Orange Peel, Dried Ginger, Allspice, Nutmeg, Star Anise, Cinnamon and Clove. Crush to equal sizes, approximately 1/8 inch.
